I underestimated Paul Thomas Anderson as a director with all the hype of the next “Kubrick”. He’s good, I didn’t realize he directed Punch Drunk Love though. Definitely not a Kubrick since no one is a Kubrick, but he is one hell of a director in Boogie Nights, kind of like a Scorsese in a sense.
